Not only do the songs have to be covers, but they still need to lead to something. So...It can't be random cover songs.

It could be something like...R.E.M covers "Femme Fatale" by the Velvet Underground, followed by Mitch Ryder covering V.U.'s "Rock and Roll." That would lead to the Feelies covering the V.U.'s "What Goes On."

Then that leads somewhere else. Got any ideas?

Folks...given the somewhat frigid temperatures...I might lean towards a "cold" show tonight, at least for awhile.

Any suggestions for titles are welcome! Ice, cold, wind, snow...any songs with these types of themes are solid suggestions. Of course, as always, I'll find a way to tie it all together.

A big thank you to Misty Lynn and the Big Beautiful for playing a set on "Detroit Today" Friday. Great stuff. Go to www.detroittoday.org to hear it if you missed it. Catch them Saturday at the Magic Stick, and as part of the lineup for the upcoming Ann Arbor Folk Festival. In addition, I will be playing a few tracks from their new album "For the Dead" on Wednesday night as part of the roadmap show. Its not often I fall this hard for a young band...but this was solid stuff.
